Joel Gretsch
Joel Gretsch ( born December 20, 1963 in St. Cloud, Minnesota ) is an American actor.
Life
Joel Gretsch made a drama training at the famous Guthrie Theatre in Minneapolis. In 1989 he moved to Los Angeles where she ordered his theater debut in Molière's Tartuffe. Then he played the title role of John Patrick Shanley's Danny and the Deep Blue Sea.
His television career began in the early nineties, he participated in several episodes of Married with Children, Melrose Place, Saved by the Bell: The New Class. He later played minor roles in the television series CSI: Miami, JAG, Friends and NCIS. The cinema audience Gretsch was primarily for his role as Bobby Jones in the DreamWorks film known The Legend of Bagger Vance, but he played in 2002, The Emperor's Club and Minority Report. From 2003 to 2007 he was in the lead role of Tom Baldwin in the U.S. TV series 4400 - Seeing the returnees. In 2007, he played Thomas Gates in National Treasure: Book of Secrets. From 2009 to 2011 he portrayed Jack Landry, one of the main characters in the series remake V - The Visitors.
Since 1999 Gretsch is with actress Melanie Shatner, daughter of William Shatner, married, with whom he has two children.
