Johannes Riedl
John Hannes Riedl ( born January 2, 1950 in Pirmasens, † August 19, 2010 ) was a German football player. The B -National player originally came from the ranks of FK Pirmasens. He then played in the Bundesliga at numerous clubs, where his time is considered winger at the 1 FC Kaiserslautern from 1974 to 1981 as its outstanding time.
Career
Youth, to 1968
Riedl began his career at FK Pirmasens. The fast and agile winger made his debut on February 4, 1968 in the German youth national football team during the qualifying match for the UEFA youth tournament in Heilbronn against Spain. At 1-0, he formed together with Winfried Schäfer the left wing, on the right side stormed Geye Reiner and Hans -Josef Kapellmann. When UEFA tournament in France, he came in the group matches against Italy (2-0), Yugoslavia (0-1) and Czechoslovakia (1:3 ) are used. When FKP he was able to make with a hit on the side of Peter Jann, Robert Young, Hugo Dausmann and Dieter Weinkauff 1967/68 League team in the Football League Southwest his skills in eight games to prove in the second half. To round in 1968/69 he got from the Bundesliga club MSV Duisburg an offer and then moved to the Lower Rhine.
Bundesliga, 1968-1984

Between 1968 and 1985 he played 441 Bundesliga games for MSV Duisburg ( 1968-72 ), Hertha BSC ( 1972-74 ), the first FC Kaiserslautern ( 1974-81 ), Arminia Bielefeld ( 1981-83 ) and Kickers Offenbach (1983 / 84), scoring 49 hits. In his time at the 1 FC Kaiserslautern, he was appointed on February 22, 1977 at countries in Orleans game against France ( 0-1) in the German B team. He had in the meantime been retrained by the winger to run strong midfielder. His last Bundesliga game dated 13 March 1984, when he heard a high defeat with Kickers Offenbach at Bayern Munich 0:9 gates. Then he moved back to the Southwest.
Career finale
His playing career he had after 1985 finish at SV Edenkoben in the Oberliga West. During the 1989/90 season, he took over as coach of Hans -Günter new, was with Edenkoben master of the Oberliga West and took part in the rise of games for the 2nd Bundesliga.
He is the father of the Bundesliga player Thomas Riedl. Since April 1996 he was a fan representative of the 1st FCK. 19 August 2010 John Riedl died at the age of 60 years.
