John Gatins
John Gatins is an American film director, screenwriter, producer and actor.
Life
Gatins grew up near the historic Saratoga Race Track on in upstate New York. He graduated in 1990, the Vassar College Drama Major. His biggest success was the screenplay for the film Flight, directed by Robert Zemeckis, for which he was nominated for several film awards in the years 2012 and 2013, including for an Academy Award.
Gatins comes from a family of police officers.
