John JP Poliquin

John "JP " Poliquin ( born August 24, 1986 in Vancouver ) is a Canadian film director of music videos, TV commercials, and movies.

Life

Poliquin was born in Vancouver, where he attended Handsworth Secondary School.

Work

His work as a director of music videos includes, among other videos for bands such as Hedley, Finger Eleven, My Darkest Days, Theory of a Deadman, The New Cities, Paper Lions, Kardinal Offishall, Kardinal Offishall, Hey Ocean!, Victoria Duffield and State of Shock. He also directed videos for the TV series The Next Star, aired on Canadian television station YTV.

His debut as a feature film director gave Poliquin in 2012 in the horror film Grave Encounters 2

His work as a director of music videos was for the Juno Award, the MuchMusic Video Award, the East Coast Music Association Award, the PEI Music Award and the Leo Award nomination.

He currently lives in Toronto.
