John M. Jackson

John Murice Jackson ( born June 1, 1950 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana) is an American actor for his role in the television series JAG - The Call of Duty became famous for.

Career

Jackson was born in Louisiana but grew up in Austin, Texas. He played American football: Only in the high school, then for the Longhorns at the University of Texas, before forcing him an injury, giving up the hobby. After college, he returned to Austin to teach Social Studies at the Lyndon B. Johnson High School.

When he was in his late twenties, Jackson began acting in a local theater. In 1980 he went to New York and later to Hollywood to further his acting career.
