John O'Callaghan (musician)

John O'Callaghan is an Irish trance DJ and music producer. He is also known under the pseudonym Joint Operations Centre.

Biography

John O'Callaghan began his career in 2003. Having already released several singles, he brought his 2007 debut album, Something To Live For out. His best-known single is Big Sky, a vocal trance piece that he produced together with the singer Audrey Gallagher 2007. The associated Agnelli & Nelson remix of Armin van Buuren was voted in radio show A State of Trance and the "Tune of the Year " in 2007.

Since 2007, O'Callaghan has been on the internet station Digitally Imported a weekly radio show called Subculture. In 2010 he founded an eponymous music label as a sub label of Armada Music. His first production on their own label was Striker. Among the artists who have already released productions on the label Subculture include Chris Metcalfe, Luke Terry and Thomas Bronzwaer.
