Sean Tyas

Sean Tyas (* 1979 in New York City ) is an American DJ and trance producer who lives in Switzerland.

Biography

Sean Tyas is from Long Iceland, New York. 1991 at the age of 11 he first came into contact with electronic music when he a cassette with different mixes of Apotheosis - O'Fortuna received. As a result, he began to be interested in techno and techno bought numerous CDs. Around the year 2000/2001 he began to produce their own music with the software Impulse Tracker on MS- DOS for the first time.

2004 Sean moved to Germany, where he produced music for DJ Beam. He soon found a better opportunity in Switzerland, where he could focus on in-house productions and remixes and some more successful singles, co-produced by Dave202. As a product of this move, he released the EP Mirella, named after his wife, a native Swiss.

The breakthrough in the trance scene succeeded in 2006 by winning the remix competition for Sander van Doorns Single Punk'd and a contract with the music label Discover. His first single lift on this label was awarded by Armin van Buuren in his radio show A State of Trance as Tune of the Week and also appeared on numerous compilations.

Sean has a weekly radio show called Tytanium Sessions afterhours.fm on the Internet radio station, which is available on iTunes as a podcast. End of June 2011, he celebrated the 100th episode of his radio show with a club tour in Montreal, Miami and New York. In July 2011, he founded his own music label called Tytanium Recordings and By the Way released the first single on his own label.

Sean Tyas in 2010 came in the choice of the top 100 DJs of DJ Mag ranked 46th
