John R. Manz

John Raymond Manz ( born November 14, 1945 in Chicago, United States) is Auxiliary Bishop of Chicago.

Life

John Manz received on May 12, 1971 by the Archbishop of Chicago, Cardinal John Cody, the sacrament of Holy Orders. Until 1978 he was a chaplain in the parish Providence of God Church. From 1978 to 1983 Manz Kaplan was novel in the parish of St.. John Manz was from 1983 to 1996 pastor of St. Agnes of Bohemia.

On January 23, 1996, Pope John Paul II appointed titular bishop of Mulia and auxiliary bishop in Chicago. The Archbishop of Chicago, Cardinal Joseph Bernardin, donated to him on March 5th of that year, the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were the Bishop of Belleville, Wilton Daniel Gregory, and the Bishop of Lubbock, Plácido Rodríguez, CMF.
