Jon Kyongnin

Jon Kyongnin or Jeon Gyeong- rin (* 26 November 1962 in Haman, Gyeongsangnam ) is a South Korean writer.

Life

Jeon Gyeong- rin was born as the eldest of six children. She studied German literature at the University Kyeongnam in Masan and dealt with during its theater. After graduating she worked for several years for the transmitter Korean Broadcasting System as a text writer. In 1995, she debuted with the story The moon on the desert in the Korean newspaper Dong -a Ilbo.

A year later she received for her short story The woman who drives the 29 goats Hanguk Ilbo Literature Prize. With the novel A man who is nowhere (1997), she won the second Munhakdongne Literature Prize, and for Merry -Go-Round circus woman ( 메리 고 라운드 서커스 여인 ) honored the 21st century literary prize. The more frequent, she was nominated for the Yi Sang Literary Prize, one of the most important prizes for literature in Korea. In 2011 she received the Hyundae Munhak price.
