Jon Olsson

Jon Olsson ( born August 17, 1982 in Mora ) is a Swedish freestyle skis and alpine ski racer. Its main sponsor is the ski company Head. He weighs 75 kg at a height of 1.83 m and is the brother of Hans Olsson Skirennläufers.

Jon Olsson won nine medals so far at the Winter X Games, including a gold medal in the Big Air 2008, two silver medals in 2004 and 2009 in the superpipe in Big Air and six bronze medals. In the freestyle skiing World Cup 2005, he scored the fifth place in the halfpipe.

Having already participated in numerous FIS races in alpine skiing until 2002, Olsson is also back regularly for alpine competitions at the start since December 2007. In September 2008 he took part in the first race in Australia New Zealand Cup and since December 2008 he starts in the Nor- Am Cup. In this series he won in the 2009/10 season with a win in a panoramic and two other top-10 results, the giant slalom standings. Since December 2010, Olsson is also in the World Cup at the start, won so far but still no World Cup points.
