Jon Tester

Jon Tester ( born August 21, 1956 in Havre, Montana ) is an American politician. Tester is a member of the Democratic Party since 2007 and represents the U.S. state of Montana in the U.S. Senate.

Biography

Tester grew up on a farm. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in music, he has gained at the University of Great Falls. He was a music teacher at the Big Sandy School before he became a farmer.

1999 to 2006 Tester member of the Senate of Montana from 2005 to 2006 and had held the office of President of the Senate. On 7 November 2006 he won against the former U.S. Senator Conrad Burns, the Senate elections for the Senate of the United States.
