Jonas Daniel Gustav Källman (born 17 July 1981 in Växjö ) is a Swedish handball player. He is 2.00 m tall and weighs 100 kg.
Källman, who plays for Hungarian club Pick Szeged and accrued for the Swedish national team, is always used as a left winger.
Career
Jonas Källman began in his hometown with the handball game. In 2000 he moved to first division club Skovde. There, his greatest success was indeed only the quarter-finals of the Swedish Championship; by the national team but Källman played targeted foreign clubs, so he was taken in 2002 by top Spanish club BM Ciudad Real under contract. With this club he won, among other things three times the EHF Champions League and the Spanish Cup five times. After the move, the professional team from Ciudad Real to Madrid, he ran for Atlético Madrid. 2013 Källmann returned back to Skovde, where he ran aground with his younger brother Filip. On January 29, 2014 be switching to Pick Szeged became known, where he has signed a contract until 2017.
Jonas Källman has been disputed 185 caps for the Swedish national team. By 2012, he never won a medal in international competitions with Sweden; for the 2007 World Cup in Germany he qualified even with Sweden. Because of a heart operation Jonas Källman participated in the 2012 European Championship not participate in Serbia. At the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London, he won the silver medal with the Swedish team and was elected to the "All Star Team".
