Jonathan Thomas (born 27 December 1982 Prembroke ) is a Welsh rugby union player. He plays as a winger or number eight for the Welsh national team and the Ospreys.

Thomas went through the youth teams of his country and began the professional club rugby at Swansea RFC. With the restructuring towards regional selections he went to the Ospreys, where he plays together with numerous other internationals. This team succeeded to win the EDF Energy Cup 2007, the Magners League and 2008.

Thomas made ​​his international debut against Australia in the summer of 2003. He was also nominated in the squad for the World Cup 2003. His first attempt in the national jersey he scored against Italy during the Six Nations 2005.
