Jordan Harvey

Jordan Harvey (2010)

Jordan Harvey ( born January 28, 1984 in Mission Viejo, California) is an American football player. The defender plays for Philadelphia Union in Major League Soccer.

Playing career

Youth and College

Harvey plays played during his school time for the youth club Strikers FC Irvine, California. After high school he went to the University of California and played in the college soccer team of UCLA Bruins.

In these four years, he was 69 times on the court. In addition to the college, he played in 2005 for Orange County Blue Star in the USL Premier Development League.

Change in the MLS

In MLS Supplemental Draft in 2006, where teams of the MLS can fill their Development Rooster, he was selected by the Colorado Rapids. Over the next four years, he became the master player of the team and stood with 2613 minutes in the 2009 season, most of the time from the team on the pitch.

During the 2011 season he moved to the Vancouver Whitecaps.

National

Harvey took part with the U-17 national team at the U-17 World Cup 2001. He also starred in the squad for the Junior World Cup in 2003 and was standing there with a game on the court.
