Jorge Ribeiro

Jorge Miguel de Oliveira Ribeiro ( born November 9, 1981 in Lisbon ) is a Portuguese footballer who plays in defense.

For the season 2008/ 09 he moved from Boavista Porto Benfica Lisbon. He has also been appointed to the Portuguese national squad for the 2008 European Championship. Jorge Ribeiro is the younger brother of Maniche.

Career

Jorge Ribeiro was trained in the school of football Benfica Lisbon and made his debut for the club in the season 1999/2000. In the next few years, he has been awarded several times until he pursued a range of Dynamo Moscow in 2005. But after one season, he was awarded again, this time to Spain to FC Málaga and one year later for CD Aves in Portugal.

For the season 2007/ 08 he was obliged Boavista Porto. After a strong season, he was again obliged by his hometown club Benfica.
