José Loiola

José Geraldo Loiola ( born March 28, 1970 in Vitória, Brazil ) is a former Brazilian beach volleyball player, world champion and vice world champion.

Career

In 1993, José Loiola his beach volleyball career as Rookie of the Year in the American AVP series with his compatriot Eduardo Bacil. In February 1995, the two succeeded in Washington DC as the first foreigners ever a victory in a AVP tournament. In the same year they separated, the new partner Loiolas was Adam Johnson.
