José Pérez Serer

José Pérez Serer ( born May 4, 1966 in Quart de les Valls, Spain ) is a Spanish football manager and former professional footballer.

Career

Serer began his career in the reserve team of FC Barcelona. On October 30, 1988, he celebrated as part of a league match against Real Zaragoza his debut in the pros. It should be his only game for FC Barcelona.

For the 1989/90 season Serer joined newly promoted RCD Mallorca. With this, the Spaniards secured twice in the league before we descended as Table in the season 1991/92. After the following season, the direct re-emergence was missed in the relegation matches against Albacete Balompié, it attracted Serer to FC Valencia.

For Valencia completed Serer in the season 1993/94 thirty league matches and took the first and only time in his career in the UEFA Cup in part. In the following season, however, he lost his place. As the situation did not improve in the 1995/96 season, moved Serer during the winter break for Villarreal CF in the Segunda División.

In Villarreal Serer had División in the 1997/98 season as a regular player major role in the rise in the Primera. Here, however, the Spaniards came only eight missions and the club was relegated again. At the re-emergence in the season 1999/2000 Serer was then little more involved with only one league game. After the season, he finished his career.

In the summer of 2012, he took his first coaching job as head coach of the Kazakh club Qairat Almaty.
