Joseph Fiennes
Joseph Alberic Fiennes Wykeham - Twisleton (usually shortened to Joseph Fiennes, Pronunciation: ' ʤəʊzɪf ' ælbəɹɪk ' twɪsltən ' wɪkəm faɪnz; born May 27, 1970 in Salisbury, Wiltshire, England ) is a British actor and younger brother of Ralph Fiennes.
Life
Joseph is the son of Mark Fiennes (Farmer, Photographer, † 2004) and Jini Fiennes ( writer; Artist Name: Jennifer Lash, † 1993), his twin brother Jacob Mark 's forester. His eldest brother is the actor Ralph Fiennes, other siblings are Magnus Hubert ( composer and music producer ), Martha Maria ( director ) and Sophia Victoria (documentary director ). As a foster brother Michael Emery ( archaeologist ) grew up with them. The widely branched noble family - Wykeham - Fiennes Twisleton also belongs to the explorer and adventurer Sir Ranulph Fiennes.
Joseph and his siblings lived - by the change of occupation of the father due - at various locations in England and Ireland, and dwelt among others in West Cork.
After the completion of the first art school Joseph Fiennes worked with the Young Vic Youth Theatre, and then went to the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He had his first professional stage appearance in London's West End in a production of The Woman in Black ( by Stephen Mallatratt ). Then he played alongside Helen Mirren in A Month in the Country. For two seasons Fiennes was a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company.
Making his first appearance in a television movie in 1995 had Fiennes in the role of Willy in The vacillations of Poppy Carew. His debut in a feature film he made in 1996, directed by Bernardo Bertolucci in Stealing Beauty - Stealing Beauty.
The biggest success came with Joseph Fiennes Shakespeare in Love ( 1998). The film won seven Oscars in 1998, including an Academy Award for Best Feature Film.
In 2003, he starred in the film adaptation of the life of Martin Luther in the title role. In 2010, he embodied in the eponymous film Vivaldi Antonio Vivaldi. 2008 Joseph Fiennes was awarded with The Spirit of the " Cinema for Peace Award 2008" for the best short film of the year.
Since 2005 he has been romantically involved with the Swiss model Maria Dolores Dieguez. The two married on August 28, 2009 in Tuscany.
On 8 March 2010 his wife brought their first daughter into the world on December 29, 2011, the second.
