Joseph Kalathiparambil

Joseph Kalathiparambil ( born October 6, 1952 in Vaduthala at Kochi) is an Indian Roman Catholic Curia Bishop.

Life

The Archbishop of Verapoly Joseph Kelanthara, consecrated him on 13 March 1978 to the priest and he was incardinated into the clergy of the Archdiocese of Verapoly. John Paul II appointed him on 19 April 2002 as Bishop of Calicut.

The Archbishop of Verapoly Daniel Acharuparambil OCD, consecrated him on 19 May of the same year the bishop; Were co-consecrators Maxwell Valentine Noronha, retired Bishop of Calicut, India, and Varghese Chakkalakal, Bishop of Kannur.

Pope Benedict XVI. appointed him on 22 February 2011 to the Secretary of the Pontifical Council for the Pastoral Care of Migrants and Itinerant People.
