Josie Davis

Josie Rebecca Davis ( born January 16, 1973 in Los Angeles, California) is an American actress and film producer.

Life and career

Josie Davis appeared as a child in commercials. From 1987 to 1990 she played in the television series Charles in Charge. For this role she won the Young Artist Award in 1989 and 1990 and in 1991 was nominated for the same price. In the following years, followed by guest appearances in television series and small supporting roles; 1996 to 1997, she starred in the television series Young and the Restless.

In the thriller Badge of Fear ( 1997) Davis took over the lead role of a policewoman who falls in love in front of a stalker to be protected and actor himself submits it to the stalking. In the comedy Kalamazoo? ( 2006), she played one of the three main roles of a longer time separate school friends. In the TV movie Nora Roberts - Lilies in the Summer Wind (2007) she played the role of a woman who overcomes her initial hostility to the played by Claire Forlani friend of her murdered sister.

Davis founded the production company 3 Sketch Films. This company produced among others the short film Lottery (2003 ) in the Davis even played along and was awarded 2003 on the Hollywood MiniDV Festival.
