Julia Glushko

Julia Glushko ( born January 1, 1990 in Donetsk, Ukrainian SSR ) is an Israeli tennis player.

Career

Glushko began at the age of four years playing tennis. On the ITF Women's Circuit they won so far, eight singles and doubles titles. Their first game for the Israeli Fed Cup team they played on April 22, 2007. She lost her match against Canada's Marie- Ève Pelletier with 1:6 and 1:6.

In 2012 she managed to qualify for the U.S. Open and was the first time in the main draw of a Grand Slam tournament. However, they lost in the first round with 5:7 and 2:6 against Yanina Wickmayer. 2013, it reached there the third round, her best performance at a Grand Slam tournament.
