Julia Sawalha
Julia Sawalha (born 9 September 1968, London, England) is a British actress.
Life
Julia Sawalha was born in 1968 as one of three daughters of the Jordanian actor Nadim Sawalha and the British Roberta Lane in London. Through her father's profession, she began at a young age, to be interested in acting. In 1981 she stood for British television regularly before the camera. With the television series Press Gang could post its first major success in the UK. However, your breakthrough role as Saffy Monsoon in the British sitcom Absolutely Fabulous in which she appeared in 40 episodes from 1992 to 2012.
In A Winter Night's Dream ( In the Bleak Midwinter, 1995), she played her first major film role alongside Kenneth Branagh. However, it is more internationally known for her portrayal of the precocious Lydia Bennet in the BBC television miniseries Pride and Prejudice ( Pride and Prejudice, 1995 ), where she starred opposite Jennifer Ehle and Colin Firth. In 2000, she lent her voice of Ginger in the animated film Chicken Run - Hennen run.
