Julie Adams
Julie Adams ( born October 17, 1926 in Waterloo, Iowa, as Betty May Adams ) is an American actress. In some cast lists it also appears as Julia Adams or Betty Adams. She began her career in Western films.
In 1949 she began working for Universal Studios. Here she used her real name, Betty Adams. Only then became Julia and eventually Julie Adams. She is best known for her role of Kay Lawrence in Creature from the Black Lagoon.
Later, she had numerous guest appearances on TV series such as Yancy Derringer, Murder, She Wrote, Cold Case - No victim is ever forgotten, Big Valley and Lost.
She was married from 1955-1974 with Ray Danton and has two sons.
