Julie Parrish

Julie Parrish ( born October 21, 1940 in Middlesboro, Kentucky; † 1 October 2003 in Tarzana, Los Angeles, California ) was an American actress who has starred in several feature films, TV movies and TV series. They also acted as a stage actress, author and singer.

Life

After winning the nationwide model competition "Young Model of The Year", she received her first film role in the 1962 premiered Jerry Lewis film Money is no object (Original Title: It 's Only Money ) in which they are still under their real name Ruby Joyce Wilbar took. Even before her second film role in The Nutty Professor ( The Nutty Professor ), also on the side of Jerry Lewis, she changed her name to Julie Parrish.

In addition to several feature films, such as South Sea paradise on the side of Elvis Presley, she appeared in a number of television series with. In the 1967/68 first broadcast series Good Morning, World, she was in all 26 episodes here. In addition, she played between 1996 and 1998 in eight episodes of the series Beverly Hills, 90210, the role of Joan Diamond. 1993 was diagnosed with Julie Parrish ovarian cancer, which was first treated successfully by surgery and chemotherapy. But in 1999 she fell ill again from cancer and died in 2003, three weeks before her 63rd birthday at Providence Tarzana Medical Center in Tarzana, Los Angeles.
