Julio Alberto Pérez

Julio Alberto Pérez Cuapio ( born July 30, 1977 in Tlaxcala de Xicoténcatl ) is a former Mexican cyclist.

Pérez Cuapio 2000 was pro at Ceramiche Panaria where he drives today. Immediately on his first tour, the Tour de Langkawi in 2000 he was runner-up and won a stage and the mountains jersey. A year later he repeated the Giro d' Italia, the breakthrough, he won the queen stage before Gilberto Simoni. Even the next Giro, he won two stages and secured the Maglia Verde of the mountains classification. When Brixia Tour of excellent climbers won a stage in 2004 and won in 2005 his first overall success at the Giro del Trentino. In January 2011, he finished his career.
