June Foray

June Foray ( born September 18, 1917 in Springfield, Massachusetts, USA) is an American voice actress.

Career

At the age of 12 years Foray was heard on the radio for the first time. At 15, she wrote the radio play Lady Makebelieve in which they themselves said several voices. Until the 50s Foray was heard regularly on the radio. From the 40's Foray worked in films and later television. She was only seen a few times myself on camera, she worked mainly as a speaker. 1950 lent Foray in the Disney movie Cinderella Lucifer the Cat her voice. In the following decades Foray was heard in more than 200 speaking roles in film and television. Among the series in which they participated, include Flintstones, The Jetsons, Tom and Jerry, The Pink Panther, Duck Tales - News from Duckburg, The Simpsons and Family Guy. Foray is still active today.

1982 Foray received the Winsor McCay Award. 1995 was introduced to her in honor of the June Foray Award; Foray himself was the first recipient. For her role as Granny in The Sylvester & Tweety Mysteries, she was awarded two Annie Awards. 2000 Foray received a star on the Walk of Fame.

Private

From 1954 until his death in 1976, Foray was married to Hobart Donavan.
