Käerjeng
Käerjeng is a municipality in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, in the canton chapels. It was created January 1, 2012 by the merger of the municipalities Nidderkäerjéng and Küntzig.
Geography
The municipality is located in southwestern Luxembourg Käerjeng in Canton chapels.
Borders the following municipalities:
- In the North: Grass ( town in the municipality stone fort) and Garnich
- In the East: Dippach and Sass Home
- In the South: Differdange and Petingen
- In the west ( Belgium): Aubange, Messancy and Arel

The municipality consists of the five localities:

- Former municipality Küntzig: Küntzig ( Lux: Kënzeg, French: Clemency )

The community is member of the following local organizations: Minett compost, Pro -Sud, SES, SIACH, SICEC, SICONA - Ouest, SIDOR, SICI, SICOR, SYVICOL and TICE.
Attractions
Churches
- The church was built in Nidderkäerjéng 1978-1982 and consecrated on 23 May 1982. She is currently the modern Church of Luxembourg
- In Hautcharage is a church that was built in 1740. The facility, which also includes three historically valuable altars is Baroque.
- The Church in Linger was built in 1863 in the Romanesque Revival style.
- The Küntziger church was built in 1726. In Küntzig there is next to this church, the Saint -Maximin- chapel, which dates from the 18th century and located in the Station Road ( Rue de le Gare) is located. To the left of the entrance to the chapel is the well Lann, a lime tree, estimated their age at about 500 years and had reached a size of 6.93 m in 2000. On July 25, 2006, Linde was so badly damaged by a bad storm, that the two main branches had to be removed for safety reasons.
- The church was built in Fingig 1864-1866 and extensively renovated in 2003.
