Kahta (Kurdish colic ) is a town and a district in the Turkish province of Adiyaman in Southeast Anatolia. The city has 63 216 inhabitants Kahta and the county 117 655 (as of 2010 ). Kahta lies to the east of the province and borders the provinces of Malatya and Şanlıurfa near the Ataturk Dam.
