Kaii Yoshida

Kaii Yoshida (Japanese吉田 海 伟, Yoshida Kaii, born May 16 1981 in Xinji, People's Republic of China as the song Haiwei (Chinese宋海伟) ) is a Sino- Japanese table tennis player. At the World Championships he won two bronze medals in the team competition.

Career

Song Haiwei began the age of seven under the guidance of coach Liu Wenqing with the table tennis sport. At 15, he moved to Japan and visited the Yamada - middle and high school in Aomori, the almost continuously wins the Inter High School Championships since 1997. In March 2004, he was naturalized and adopted on the basis of his sports teacher Yasuo Yoshida at this school the Japanese family name Yoshida, while he retained the spelling of his first name Chinese, these are but Japanese read as Kaii.

Since then he has performed internationally under the Japanese flag. In 2004 and 2005 he was the national Japanese champion in singles. Kaii Yoshida is married to the Japanese table tennis national team to Konishi.
