Kalina, West Pomeranian Voivodeship

Kalina ( German dairy ) is a residential place at Poradz (Peter field ) in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland.

Geographical location

The living space is located in Pomerania about 30 kilometers south of Kolobrzeg ( Kolberg), about one kilometer east of the village Poradz (Peter field ). To the northeast lies the village Słowenkowo ( Neugasthof ), in the southeast of the village Stare Ślepce (Alt Schleps ), in the southwest of living space Drzeń ( Dryhn ).

History

The living space originally formed a Vorwerk of the manor in Rogzow, according to the Department of the former grange Neugasthof of Rogzow then a Vorwerk of Neugasthof.

In 1884, the Pomeranian provincial association for workers colonies operation and taught here a workers' colony as a charitable institution. In the workers' colony unemployed and ex-prisoners were brought to an orderly life as a farm laborer. To this end, the colony ran a large farm of 506 acres, of which 250 acres of farmland. In the south of the dairy farm located Drienbruch the colonists were used to bog cultivation. The workers colony existed until 1945.

From 1899 to 1928, the dairy formed its own Gutsbezirk. 1928 Gutsbezirk was incorporated as part of the dissolution of the estate districts in Prussia in the rural community of Peter the field. The dairy farm belonged to 1945 as part of the rural community of Peter the field for Kolberg- Körlin Pomerania.

After the Second World War came the dairy farm, as the whole of Pomerania, to Poland. The place was given the Polish name Kalina.
