Kangnido

The Kangnidokarte, short Kangnido, kor. 혼일 강리 역대 국도 지도, Rev. Rom. Honil Gangni Yeokdae Gukdo Ji Do ( map of historic countries, cities and regions), is a map of the world from Korea.

It probably dates from the year 1402 and is one of the oldest surviving map of East Asia. It was prepared under the supervision of Korean Chinese official based information as part of a cultural project during the Joseon Dynasty. The Kangnidokarte is now in the Omiya Library of Ryukoku University in Kyoto.
