Kani Vrana

Kani Vrana ( born July 13, 1913 in Skopje, † 17 June 1984) was a Turkish lawyer and 1975-1978 President of the Turkish Constitutional Court.

Career

Vrana closed in 1938 to study at the Law Faculty of Istanbul University and worked since 1941 as a district court judge in the district Gündoğmuş in the province of Antalya. On September 16, 1959 he was elected a member of the Turkish Court of Cassation and was active between the years 1963 and 1970 as a member and as President of the High Electoral Council ( Yüksek Secim Kurulu, YSK ). On October 7, 1970, he was appointed a full member of the Constitutional Court and was elected on October 1, 1975 the President of the Constitutional Court. This office he held until July 13, 1978.
