Karl Aage Præst

Karl Aage Præst, Carl Aage Præst ( born February 26, 1922 in Copenhagen, Denmark, † 19 November 2011) was a Danish footballer.

Career

Præst began his career at Østerbro BK, then he played with BK Frem Copenhagen. From 1949 to 1956 he was with the Italian giants Juventus, under contract, for whom he scored 51 goals in 232 Serie A games. With Juve he won the Italian championship at the side of his compatriot John Hansen and at the Giampiero Boniperti for the seasons 1949/50 and 1951/52. Then he let his career at Lazio finish.

Between 1945 and 1949 graduated Karl Aage Præst 24 caps for Denmark, scoring 17 goals. At the Olympic Summer Games in London in 1948 he won the bronze medal with his team.
