Karl Hermann Zahn

Karl Hermann tooth ( born December 3, 1865 in Baiertal; † February 8, 1940 in Haigerloch ) was a German botanist. His botanical author abbreviation is " tooth".

Life

Karl Hermann tooth came on 3 December 1865 as a child of the active at the Lower Mill in Baiertal Muller Master Konrad tooth and his wife Catherine Zahn, born Goos, to the world.

Tooth passed the matriculation examination for teachers and thereafter sub- teacher at the secondary school in Heidelberg. He studied at the Polytechnic School of Karlsruhe; thereafter he worked at the Realschule in Weinheim. Subsequently, he accepted an appointment at the Grand Ducal Baden Baugewerkeschule, later called Staatstechnikum (today Hochschule Karlsruhe - Technology and Economics ), where he remained in a nearly 40-year teaching career. Tooth married in 1894 Creszentia Zeiser from Haigerloch. After his retirement he lived in Haigerloch, where he died on 8 February 1940.
