Karsten Hutwelker

From the season 2009/10 he worked for the Association based in Kassel, League Movers VfB Süsterfeld as player-coach.

For the 2010/11 season Karsten Hutwelker was introduced as the new coach of Bonner SC. There he was in the NRW-Liga mold a young team that can stay in the league. The Bonner SC was previously relegated due to financial problems of the West Regional. The predecessor Hutwelkers was Wolfgang Jerat. But the tight financial situation of Bonner SC meant that in July 2010 had to be opened insolvency proceedings. Thus, the first team was excluded from the NRW-Liga and will not participate in any game mode 2010/11. Karsten Hutwelker agreed yet to help the club and became the new coach of the U- 19, which can participate in the game running their league despite the insolvency proceedings. There, he worked without pay and wanted to give a foundation for the development of the club in the future and build a framework of young players for upcoming men's teams.

On November 4, 2013 Hutwelker took over as coach in the Oberliga FC Kray. Just five months later, on March 19 2014 Hutwelker pulled his buy-out clause from the contract runs until the summer of 2015 and announced plans to leave the club back in the summer of 2014.

Private

In August 2006, tissue samples were taken as part of a dental treatment to Hutwelker. After evaluating the sample bone cancer was found in him. Meanwhile applies " Huti " as cured and on 25 February 2007, he celebrated a 3-1 win at home to FC Augsburg against the then leader of the 2nd Bundesliga, Karlsruher SC, his comeback.

Hutwelker lives with his wife and two children in Cologne.
