Kasabian is the eponymous debut album by the British band Kasabian. Following the publication in September 2004, it climbed to 4th place in the UK album charts. After the recordings on a farm near Leicester it was released on 13 September 2004, in America but it was not until March of the following year in the stores. It was announced in size of the band in advance, the expectations of the critics, however, have not been fully met. But it was not all negative resonance; The album was praised especially for the mingling of many musical styles.

Cover

The cover of the album has different colors depending on the place of publication. The British version is black and white, the European version is red and black and the U.S. albums have a blue-black color.

Style

The musical style of Kasabian is very far-reaching. Although it really is a rock album, electronics and rave influences on the album are clearly heard. In addition, in some songs of the album items from the rap, Britpop and synth pop will be addressed.

Clubfoot

Special fame the Single Club Foot. The official video of the song is dedicated to the Czechoslovak students and martyr Jan Palach, who burned himself in protest against the suppression of the so-called Prague Spring itself.
