Kasper Risgård

Kasper Risgård ( born January 4, 1983 in Aalborg ) is a Danish football player in the service of Silkeborg IF.

Career

Kasper Risgård gained his first experience as a professional player at the end of the 2002 /03 in the Danish Superliga. In the first few games for his club Aalborg BK, where he was active as a youth player, he showed some appealing benefits to which he, however, during the following season, did not match. Due to this, Aalborg decided in 2004 to borrow him for one season to the then Danish second division FC Nordjylland.

After his return to Aalborg Risgård was first again on the bench. At the end of the 2005/06 season he was given the chance to play as a central defender back into the team, and succeeded him. In the fall of 2007, he was assigned by his new coach Erik Hamrén in the defensive midfield. In this position he established himself, with good performances in the league, the Champions League and the UEFA Cup final in the team. As a preliminary highlights of his career, he celebrated in the 2007/ 08 season, the Danish Championship.

A next career step was Risgård in summer 2009 with the change to the German club Arminia Bielefeld, the descent from above the Bundesliga. He received a three-year contract. In Bielefeld Risgård but could fight for a regular place. Already in the summer of 2010 he moved to Panionios Athens because he was singled out because of sporting and financial reasons by coach Christian goat in Arminia. He did not, however, be used, so that he returned for the new season to Denmark, Silkeborg IF.
