Kästeklippen
The fort, also briefly called Käste, are a group of rocks near the summit of Mount Huth ( 604.8 m above sea level. NN ) in the resin. They are located between the villages of Oker and Schulenberg in the unincorporated area of the county resin Goslar in Lower Saxony and have a maximum height of about 602 m above sea level. NN on.

Geographical location

Infrastructure
Many paths lead from the Okertalsperre, Romkerhalle, Oker, Göttingerode and Bad Harzburg up to Käste. The most important access path is the Kästestraße. Leads up from Bad Harzburg to slag place at Morlberg and then runs to nearly 600 m above sea level. NN on the Old Schlewecke and the stepmother cliffs to Käste. From there it goes downhill again, past the rear and the Middle goats back to Oker. The Kästestraße was once completely paved from Bad Harzburg to Käste. Kästehaus
In 1928 the mountain inn Kästehaus was built near the cliff, which belonged to the unincorporated area of resin until 1929, then incorporated to Bündheim and finally assigned an exclave of the municipality of Oker. Since 1973, the Kästehaus heard again Bündheim district and thus the town of Bad Harzburg.
