Kasumbalesa

Kasumbalesa, also Kasile, is a small border town, which lies partly in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, partly in Zambia. Strictly speaking, there are two places, two border posts that are mentioned mainly as the end of the rail networks of Zambia Railways and Société Nationale des Chemins de fer du Congo. Also the road from Lubumbashi to Kitwe leads through the village. After Lubumbashi there are 96 km. Kasumbalesa has about 4,000 inhabitants.
