Katalepsy

Katalepsy ( from the English word catalepsy, German: catalepsy ) is a Russian and Brutal Slam Death Metal band from Moscow, which was founded in 2003.

History

The band was founded in 2003. After the first appearances in the fall of 2004, the band recorded a first demo called Femicide, which appeared on a split release. On the recorded music could be heard next Katalepsy still Barbarity, Smersh and Posthumous Blasphemer. During 2006, several lineup changes occurred. Meanwhile, the group held on from appearances and wrote new songs. Towards the end of the year, the group went into the Z- studio to record their debut album Musick Brings Injuries. The publication was followed by several appearances, including along with Suffocation in Moscow. The band also went along with groups such as Jig -Ai and Mucopus on tour. The end of 2007 the band went back into the Z- studio to record four new songs for a split release called Triumph of Evilution, also also also Fleshrot and Blunt Force Trauma could be heard. The recordings appeared in May 2008 and were expelled by the three labels Grindethic Records, Pathologically Explicit Records and Soul Flesh Collector Records. The release was followed by two tours, as well as an appearance on the Mountain of Death Fest in Switzerland. Style

According to Facebook profile, the group was initially influenced by bands like Suffocation, Cannibal Corpse, Nile and Disgorge. Evan Mugford of metal- observer.com arranged Autopsychosis the Slam and Brutal Death Metal, with the Slam shares had increased significantly compared to its predecessor.
