Kathryn Crosby

Kathryn Grant ( born November 25, 1933 as Olive Kathryn Grandstaff in Houston, Texas) is an American actress.

Biography

The winner of numerous beauty contests came in the early 1950s to Hollywood, where she filled soon decorative numerous roles in mostly lightweight films. Her most famous appearance was in 1958 as the female lead in the fairytale adventure film Sinbad seventh trip.

In 1954 she met the 30 year old, widowed for two years singer Bing Crosby. The two married in 1957. Two years later, Kathryn Grant drew largely from show business back into family life, and bore her husband three children, among them Mary Crosby. Bing Crosby had from his first marriage three more children, approximately the same age as her stepmother.

Kathryn Grant came from now on only occasionally as an actress in appearance, mainly in TV shows of her husband. In 1972, she starred in a TV adaptation of the play Cyrano de Bergerac. Even after the death of Bing Crosby's 1977 remained sporadic appearances Kathryn Grant in front of the camera.
