Church

Noteworthy is the village church from the 13th century. The walls are built of field stones. Builders were Westphalian settlers who founded around 1225 Kavelstorf. Because of the massive square tower is to suggest that the Church in the Middle Ages served as the villagers fortified church. In the chancel, the east wall is decorated with two custom built in flush- Ritz technique images from the period of the Church. Make burial, and ascension of Christ dar. These images were only rediscovered in 1985. The windows in the chancel are Romanesque, which point in the nave and tower space already on Gothic elements.

Since 2000, the church is a motorway church.
