Kelantan FA
Kelantan FA is a representative team from Kota Bharu, Malaysia. Currently the team plays in the top league in the country, the Malaysia Super League. Founded as the team from the Football Association of the State of Kelantan, to represent both the state and the association. Play their home games from the team at Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium.
Club history
In 2000, Kelantan FA was master of the 2nd league and entered directly into the first league. After a surprising 3rd place in the following year they managed only 11th place in the season 2002. 2003 did not manage to qualify for the new 1st League and got off again, in the meantime even to the third league. Only in 2007 /08 then managed to rise again in the first league. In this case, you did not lose a single home game during the season and enjoyed a large audience popular. The greatest success of the club is to reach the FA Cup final in 2009.
After two incidents of F Walt, on 31 March and 7 April 2009, the National Association imposed a stadium ban of one year. In addition, Kelantan had to pay a fine in the amount of 90,000 RM. End of May 2009, the stadium lock has been lifted.
