Kelenna Azubuike

Kelenna Azubuike David ( born December 16, 1983 in London, England ) is a British professional basketball player.

Azubuike participated in the 2005 Draft, to support after the imprisonment of his father his family. He was not gedrafted, but made in the preseason a few games for the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Cavaliers released him at the end of the preseason and he had to play for the D -League team of the Fort Worth Flyers. He led the Flyers to the finals, they lost to the Albuquerque Thunderbirds. His good performances brought him on 4 August 2006 to the Houston Rockets, but he was released again after just two games of the preseason. He then played again for the Flyers, where he scored the most points of all D -League players and had the third best hit rate for three-point throws. On January 2, Azubuike was of the Golden State Warriors obliged to alleviate the injury misery. After the Mavs of Lamar Odom had separated, Azubuike was brought into the active squad. Over the summer break 2012 Azubuike was transferred from the Mavericks to the Cleveland Cavaliers. For the Cavaliers, he completed the preparation for the 2012/2013 season, but was then dropped from the squad in October 2012 and the contract between him and the Cavaliers was dissolved by option.
