Ken Hutchison

Ken Hutchison (* November 24, 1943 in Leslie, Scotland ) is a British actor.

Life

Ken Hutchison was born in 1943 in a small Scottish village. His desire to become an actor led him to Hollywood, where he was usually cast as violent blank, such as Sam Peckinpah's 1971 thriller Straw Dogs ( Straw Dogs ) with Dustin Hoffman. In 1972, he came as an Irish smugglers in Ralph Nelson's Western Damn Hosanna ( The Wrath of God) opposite Robert Mitchum used. He then returned to Britain, where he was henceforth mainly seen in television series, including in nine episodes of the series The Onedin Line (The Onedin Line, 1976) and 1977 in a series of Moonbase Alpha 1 ( Space: 1999). In 1978, he starred as Heathcliff the male lead in a five-part BBC adaptation of Emily Brontë's novel Wuthering Heights ( Wuthering Heights ).

The big break him but never succeeded. It was followed by other television appearances and bit parts in films such as Gandhi (1982 ) and Ladyhawke ( Ladyhawke, 1985). Most recently he was seen until 1999 in five episodes of the British crime series The Bill.
