Kendra Wecker

Kendra Renee Wecker ( born December 16, 1982 in Marysville, Kansas, United States) is a professional basketball player. She currently plays for the Washington Mystics in the Women's National Basketball Association.

Career

College

Kendra Wecker played until 2005 for the Wildcats, the women's basketball team of Kansas State University. 2003, 2004 and 2005, she was elected to the All- Big 12 First Team. In addition, she received the award in 2005 Big 12 Conference Player of the Year. In 2004 she was also elected to the All- District Second Team.

Women's National Basketball Association

Kendra Wecker was selected in the WNBA Draft in 2005 by the San Antonio Silver Stars in the fourth position. In the 2005 season they could deny only a game for the Silver Stars due to an injury. In the 2006 season, she missed a single season game, also she was eleven times in the starting lineup of the Silver Stars.
