Kenneth Box

Kenneth James Box ( born December 1, 1930 in West Derby, Liverpool) is a former British sprinter. He won with the British 4 x 100 - meter relay at the European Championships 1954 silver.

In 1954 he started for England at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Vancouver; with the 4-x -110- yards - Season ( Alan Lillington, Brian Shenton and George Ellis ), he was fourth, about 100 yards, he failed in the heats. In selbern year at the European Championships in Bern, he won the British squadron ( Ken Jones, George Ellis, Box and Brian Shenton ), he won silver.

In 1956 he competed at the Olympic Games in Melbourne, over 100 m, he retired in the quarterfinals of; with the British 4 x 100 m relay (box, Eric Sandstrom, David Segal and Brian Shenton ), he finished fifth.

1957 box was about 100 yards British champion.
