Kesteven

Kesteven is one of the traditional areas of the county of Lincolnshire in England. The other areas are Holland and Lindsey.

Kesteven was from 1888 to 1974 an administrative county. This was then dissolved as well as the administrative counties Lindsey and Holland; for the traditional county of Lincolnshire was the first time the status of an administrative county. The name is preserved in the new districts of North Kesteven and South Kesteven.
