Kevin Münch ( born August 27, 1988 in Herne ) is a German darts player, nicknamed "The Dragon".

Career

Munch was in his youth for many years the No. 1 youth ranking of the German Darts Association. In 2008, just two years after he joined the men's standings, he was already the No. 2 DDV ranking. Since then, he is also a regular member of the German national team in Dart.

His first international title won Münch 2009 at the World Ranking Tournament in Bremen, the German Gold Cup. There he was successful both in singles, and in doubles with Sven Flück. A year later he became German champion of the men, giving him in 2013 and again in the youth field in 2004 and 2005 succeeded.

Munch arrived at the Winmau World Masters in 2011 through to the last 40 before losing to Colin Fowler.

By winning the German qualifying, in which he defeated in the final Bernd Roith 10:8, Münch qualified for the PDC World Darts Championship in 2012. In his first round match against Lee Choon Peng of Malaysia, he won 4-2 Legs. In the first round he played against Denis Ovens and won the first set 3-0 in legs before Ovens was forced to abandon the game because of a back injury. Münch had to compete in the second round against Steve Farmer and lost with 2:4 sets.

Kevin Münch throws his darts, though he is actually right-handed, with the left hand. When DDV Spreecup 2008 in Berlin, Munch succeeded with his doubles partner Sven Flück a 9 -darter, which Münch the issuing 180 and the 141er Finish threw.
