Kewaunee is a city ( with a status of "City" ) and the administrative seat of Kewaunee County in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. In 2010, Kewaunee had 2952 inhabitants.

Kewaunee is part of the metropolitan area around the city of Green Bay.

Geography

Kewaunee is located at 44 ° 28 'north latitude and 87 ° 31' west longitude, covers 10.9 km ² (9.0 km ² of it land area) at an altitude of 204 meters above the sea level. The city is located on Lake Michigan.

The Wisconsin Highway 29 leads coming into the city center from the west, leading to the Wisconsin Highway 42 through the city in a north-south direction.
